FRAGORIA - New MMORPG | Online Game - Technological Update ( May 21, 2010 )

Good news, Fragoria!

Today we successfully launched 2 new technological features that will make game process more comfortable.

First - we installed all Fragoria resources to the CDN. Here's a short definition from Wikipedia:

"A content delivery network or content distribution network (CDN) is a system of computers containing copies of data, placed at various points in a network so as to maximize bandwidth for access to the data from clients throughout the network. A client accesses a copy of the data near to the client, as opposed to all clients accessing the same central server, so as to avoid bottleneck near that server."

So what does it mean for you? Previously if you play from Europe or USA - you get resources (all pictures, animations, sounds) from Russian resource server located in Russia. Now when you connect to Fragoria will download all the resources from one of CDN servers, and the one closest to you will be automatically chosen. So resources will now load much faster and you won't depend on any channel or other problems.

The second thing is that from now on game client will update automatically if any changes occur to it. It will always be up to date and correspond latest version.
