We want to report that we started testing
Fragoria’s new client!
And that means that we are almost ready to
show the result of 2 years’ hard work.

Let's clear a few terms. "Client" is just in reference to everything you use to see fragoria. It's not necessarily something you install on your computer - even if you launch game in browser you can also see the game's client side. Unity3D is a technology and a visual engine our new client is performing with.

So we already know the following about the new client:
- It's much more beautiful. While we keep game view and camera just the same as they are at the moment (isometric).
- So 3D for Fragoria doesn't mean you will be able to rotate camera or anything like that. Rather, we are keeping it the way we all like it.
- But all models - characters, monsters, pets, buildings, trees - are now 3D. That makes them look much more beautiful and they perform much more nicely - all movements are clear and vivid.
- You may say that all this beauty is nothing if it brings more lag to the game, and we are with you on that. Another benefit of the new client is that its performance is much more stable and fast. In fact, in takes 2-3 times less of computer's resources then Flash (the current system). And that means you will be able to play Fragoria on everyday computers, even on netbooks, while still enjoying great performance.
- One more important improvement we will get from new client is smaller resource size. That means that the same amount of graphics is 5-10 times smaller in Unity than it is now. As a result, the client will improve loading speed, and it will be less demanding for your internet connection.
- It's just a client-side innovation, as you will still be able to play either the new version or the current one - your decision.

All in all, we can say from those tests that playing Fragoria has become an all new experience. It's a real pleasure - and a great pleasure for us, to see that we can bring Fragoria to a new level of fun.
We are still fixing small problems of the new client. They are small, but numerous, as every new-born product has. We are planning to give it away for beta-testing during April. In April-May we want to present it as open beta - so you will be able to play with it on live servers. And in June we will be ready to say that the new client is finally released and we can all enjoy Fragoria we love in a new way.
